Ashley and Ben met while both in school in New Orleans, La and wanted to bring that Southern flare to the wedding.  They were married at the bride's family church in Lake Charles, La followed by a reception at the charming Governor's Mansion.

 

​Guests enjoyed passed hor d'oeuvres of bass bites, boudin, and crab cakes followed by stations of shrimp and grits and carving station.  The dance floor was packed all night thanks to City Heat who kept everyone entertained throughout the evening.  Specialty Louisiana beer was offered to complete the southern traditions.  Jake's Cakes created both the beautiful bride's cake and delicious groom's cake.  At the end of the evening the coffee bar opened with selections native to both Louisiana and California, where the groom was raised.  Ben and Ashley left to a shower of rose petals in a vintage Rolls Royce.
